On 6 & 7 April 2024, building on our first five successful years, Brecon Festival Ballet presented a Double Bill featuring Act II from Swan Lake (the White Act from, probably, the world's most famous ballet) and a new ballet, Tanio'r Ddraig, created by our Artistic Director, Katy Sinnadurai.  This was created around well-loved Welsh songs that were familiar to our audience (such Sospan Fach, Tros Y Garreg, Men of Harlech and Myfanwy), with additional music composed and played live by local pianist, Penny Hughes.  The original designs were by local artist, Phil Clark.
